Give a Gift to those in need

Gifts go toward the beautifully diverse groups of locals in need and the various organisations that support them. Click here to view these organisations. All excess stock donated is redistributed to registered organisations and facilities in accordance with state law. Recipients of these gifts have been referred to us via registered organisations and require benevolent support. 

We accept gently used and new items. The ideal gifts are baby books/toys, toys for older children, school/music supplies, and sports/arts/crafts equipment. All toiletries must be completely sealed and unopened. 

Due to Covid-19 we quarantine gifts for a fortnight before redistributing and are treated in accordance with the World Health Organisations' recommendations.

Spreading the news about our gift drive with others has a very real and positive impact. Every share can make a huge difference! You never know who will see it and what joy they can gift. 

For example, a member of the Blue Hand Group shared a post on Facebook, now the team from Blue Dog Posters is gifting incredible excess stock. Another post calling for volunteers resulted in someone offering a car! And poster on the back of a bathroom stall lead to a department within Sydney University donating tens of thousands of brand new items that were distributed within 48 hours.

So please do share, post, and when dropping off take selfies!

• Food or clothing. Sadly we can not accept these items. Baby clothes size 0000 to 1 year olds are accepted but need to be in great condition. If it is excess stock that is brand new we can redistribute those clothes. 

• Broken or well used items. Items that require mending or have been heavily used. 

• Inappropriate gifts - Including but not limited to, gifts featuring visible swear words, anything sexual in nature, anything derogatory or disrespectful to others. Or items that are too large in size, the exception being musical and sports equipment.
